Description:

Silicon carbide whiskers are cubic whiskers, which belong to the same crystal form as diamond. They are the whiskers that have the highest hardness, the highest modulus, the highest tensile strength, and the highest heat resistance among the whiskers that have been synthesized. There are two types of α-type and β-type. Among them, β-type performance is better than α-type and has higher hardness (Mohs hardness is above 9.5), better toughness and conductivity, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, especially earthquake resistance, Corrosion resistance and radiation resistance have been used in aircraft and missile housings, as well as engines, high temperature turbine rotors, and special components.

Storage Condition:
