They also have the characteristics of light weight, adjustable electrical conductivity, strong high temperature oxidation resistance and stability. CNTs are promising and ideal microwave absorbers, which can be used in stealth materials, electromagnetic shielding materials or anechoic chamber absorbing materials.
Carbon nanotubes have a stealth effect on infrared and electromagnetic waves, but the reflected signal strength obtained by infrared detectors and radars is greatly reduced, so it is difficult to find the detected target, which plays a stealth role.
