Nano CuO powder in sensor:

The nano copper oxide powder has superior catalytic activity and selectivity and other properties than the large-sized CuO powder. The size of nano copper oxide is between 1 and 100 nm. The electrical properties of nano copper oxide make it sensitive to external environment such as temperature, humidity, light, etc. Therefore, coating the sensor with nano copper oxide particles can greatly improve the response speed, sensitivity and selectivity of the sensor. The spectral properties of nano copper oxide are characterized by a broadening of the infrared absorption peak and a significant blue shift. It was found that nano copper oxide powder with small particle size and good dispersibility has higher catalytic performance for ammonium perchlorate.Nano CuO has the advantages of large specific surface area, high surface activity, specific physical properties and extreme micro-sensitivity, making it sensitive to external environment such as temperature, light and moisture.
